I’m not sure that I gave any history about the house that we bought or why we are moving again… We are living in a BEAUTIFUL home very close to the Inch Arran and close to my Mom’s house. We thought a year ago that this was our “forever” home, but it turned out that there was another plan for us.
For some reason, it just wasn’t meant to be, and at first I was very disappointed and devastated actually. But then I realized that everything that has happened in my life has been for a reason, sounds cliché but it’s really true. So we began our search for another house knowing that there was not much on the market. We went to visit our house (which is on Peterson St.(Lloyd Harrison’s old house) for all you Dalhousie people who know the area) and after that first visit I was like “no way, like no frigging way!”
I wanted something that required little work and was as beautiful as the house we are currently in. Ya…I quickly realized there was no chance that was going to happen. So, it was time to suck it up Princess!!
So this is our story of how we plan to renovate that little blue house and make it our home. I am thankful and grateful that things turned out the way that they did and that we get the chance to make that house exactly what we want.
It brings me to this quote…
Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.
William Arthur Ward
I look forward to whatever the future brings with our home and I hope you will continue to join us on our adventure.
