At the beginning of the summer a friend of mine asked me to paint her dining room table and chairs. I really hesitated at first because I had never painted anything like that for anyone EVER! I was afraid that it wouldn’t turn out, I was afraid that I would screw it up…I. Was. Afraid.
I decided to go ahead and do it anyway and here are some before and after pictures of the process. I had a little glitch along the way with the paint but that was very quickly resolved (thanks to Wendy at Front Porch Mercantile). I was desperate that I even posted a picture of my issue on Miss Mustard Seed’s FB page, and she also kindly responded.
In the end, the table, chairs and sideboard all turned out beautifully and Mark and Stacey are very happy with the way everything turned out.
Check out the before/after of that sideboard. Stacey said it was a beast to beauty transformation and I totally agree! That thing was insanely UGLY! Or maybe I should say it was insanely outdated!
I think the transformation of the entire dining room is gorgeous! What a great place to gather with family and friends to enjoy a great meal and even better company!
Oh and the table/chairs were painted in MMSMP Typewriter and the sideboard is MMSMP Eulalie’s.
