Most days, I want to blog. I want to share what I find inspirational, exciting and beautiful. Most days, those things are so simple and usually right in front of my eyes. The problem is that I worry that everyone else will think I’m insane for loving the simple things that I (usually) have in my home. Or the things I see around the yard, on the beach or even on my way to work in the morning.
So the thing I’ve decided to do today is to write about and show you the things that I find beautiful and the things I am thankful for. I can’t be afraid of what others think, especially here on my blog. If one person likes it, then I’ll be happy. I have to toss my neurosis and self-doubt out the window at some point and just be. I would love to say that I am able to do that on a daily basis, but I’m not. I’m better than I was, but still working on it.
So hopefully you will find something to be grateful for today and everyday. Today, I choose to be grateful for the changing leaves, my family, turkey, stuffing and gravy, not necessarily in that order.
Have a great Thanksgiving weekend!
